Small residential homes designed for calm, consistency, and dignity. Six residents. A caregiver always present. A real home — not a facility wing — in five communities across Southern California.
Understanding the Service
Memory care is specialized support for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive conditions that affect memory, reasoning, and daily functioning. Unlike standard assisted living, memory care is intentionally structured to reduce confusion, prevent unsafe wandering, and create a sense of safety and belonging for the person receiving care.
At Angel's Haven Care, memory care isn't a locked ward or an institutional wing — it's a real home on a real neighborhood street. Consistent caregivers, a calm daily rhythm, and only six fellow residents mean your loved one can feel like themselves in an environment that actually feels like home. See why our model compares so differently →
The Small-Home Advantage
Research consistently shows that individuals with memory conditions thrive in calm, familiar, low-stimulation environments — not large institutional facilities. Here is what makes the difference.
Our homes have six residents — not sixty. Quiet hallways, familiar sounds, and a true domestic setting reduce the anxiety and agitation that commonly worsen in large facilities.
A 1:3 caregiver ratio means your loved one sees the same caregivers every day. Familiarity reduces fear and builds real trust — something impossible where staff rotate constantly.
Predictable schedules — wake time, meals, activities, rest — are powerfully stabilizing for memory care residents. We build each day around your loved one's own familiar patterns.
Familiar domestic environments — kitchens, living rooms, gardens — are far less disorienting than clinical corridors. Our homes feel like home because they are homes.
With only six residents, caregivers genuinely know each person — their preferences, triggers, life history, and personality. Care is personal, not protocol-driven.
Small homes welcome families. Open-door visits, regular updates, and true care partnerships create a full circle of support around your loved one.
Know the Signs
Many families wait too long, managing at home until a crisis occurs. These signs suggest your loved one may benefit from the structure and safety of residential memory care:
If several of these apply, please call us. Our team can help you assess whether residential memory care is the right next step — with no pressure and no obligation. If your family needs temporary relief while exploring options, our short-term respite care program is also available.
What We Provide
Every resident receives a comprehensive care experience built around their individual needs, history, and cognitive stage.
Managed by Licensed RCFE Administrators
Both co-founders are California Licensed RCFE Administrators — credentialed, hands-on leaders who are directly accountable for the care standard in every Angel's Haven home.
We coordinate with each resident's own physician, neurologist, and specialists — so the medical relationships your family already trusts stay fully intact.
If you're not fully satisfied in the first 30 days, we'll work with you to make it right.
How We Compare
When the alternative is a memory care "wing" in a large facility, the quality-of-daily-life difference is significant.

After my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, we spent months searching for the right place. Angel's Haven in Temecula was the answer. The caregivers know her by name, know what she likes, and know how to calm her when she's confused. She's safer and more settled than she's been in years — and our family finally sleeps at night.
My father has moderate dementia and was struggling terribly at home. Moving him to Angel's Haven in Murrieta was the best decision we made. The small home environment — just six residents — made all the difference. He's settled and comfortable, and the same caregiver greets him every morning. That consistency has been everything.
When we visited the Lake Elsinore home, I actually cried — because it looked like a real home, not a facility. My grandmother has Lewy body dementia and the team understood her specific needs immediately. Ricardo Garcia and his staff are exceptional people doing exceptional work.

When a loved one enters hospice care, where they spend their final days matters deeply. Our small residential homes offer something hospitals and large facilities cannot - genuine warmth, familiar faces, and the quiet comfort of a real home.
Understanding This Time
Hospice is a philosophy of care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life - not curative treatment. It can take place in many settings, including residential care homes like ours.
At Angel's Haven Care, we partner with licensed hospice agencies to provide a coordinated, compassionate end-of-life experience. The hospice team - nurses, chaplains, social workers, and volunteers - visits your loved one regularly. Our caregivers provide around-the-clock presence, personal care, and comfort in between those visits.
The result is a whole-person, whole-family care experience that neither a hospital nor a large facility can replicate - provided in a real home, on a real neighborhood street, with familiar people and a peaceful atmosphere.
If your family is navigating end-of-life care for a loved one, we want you to know that support is available - and that the place where your loved one spends this sacred time matters. Please call us. We'll listen, and we'll help guide you through your options.
Our team is compassionate, experienced, and here for your family every step of the way.

Where end-of-life care happens shapes the experience for your loved one and for your family. Here is what that difference looks like in practice.
Our Hospice Partnership
We do not provide hospice services directly - that is the role of licensed hospice agencies, whose teams of nurses, physicians, chaplains, and social workers are medically equipped and specially trained for end-of-life care. What we do is partner with them, providing the residential setting and around-the-clock personal care that makes hospice work beautifully.
We work with most major hospice providers in the Southern California region. If your loved one is already enrolled with a hospice agency, we can coordinate directly with their team to ensure a smooth transition into our home.
If you are not yet connected with a hospice provider, our team can help guide you toward appropriate resources and referrals.
Our Role in the Partnership
Our Values
At Angel's Haven Care, we believe every person deserves to spend their final chapter surrounded by comfort, familiarity, and love. These are the values we bring to every hospice support situation.
Our caregivers are never rushed. With only six residents per home, we have the time to sit with your loved one, hold their hand, and simply be present.
Our homes are genuinely quiet. No overhead announcements, no institutional noise, no busy corridors - just a calm, peaceful environment befitting this time.
Soft lighting, fresh air, home-cooked aromas, and access to outdoor spaces support a sense of natural peace that clinical environments cannot offer.
Family members can visit, stay overnight, and be fully present. This time belongs to your family - we simply ensure comfort and care around you.
Every interaction - bathing, repositioning, feeding - is carried out with deep respect and tenderness. Your loved one's dignity is sacred to us.
We keep families informed and involved. You will never be left wondering how your loved one is doing - we'll reach out proactively, not only when called.
For Families
We know that end-of-life care is not only about the person receiving care - it is about the whole family. Watching a loved one approach the end of their life is one of the hardest experiences any of us will face.
At Angel's Haven Care, we try to carry some of that weight so your family can focus on being present - not on logistics, not on caregiving tasks, not on worry. Our team handles the care. You handle the love.
Families are welcome to visit at any hour. We can accommodate overnight stays when timing becomes critical. We'll communicate openly and honestly with you throughout, and we'll reach out to you - not wait for you to ask.

My father spent his last weeks at Angel's Haven Care in Rancho Mirage. I cannot put into words what it meant to have him in a real home - a quiet room, familiar caregivers, good food. The hospice team and Angel's Haven Care worked together seamlessly. He passed peacefully and with dignity. Our family will be forever grateful.
We were terrified at first - we didn't know what hospice in a care home would look like. Ricardo walked us through everything. The home was peaceful and beautiful. My mother was never alone. The caregivers sat with her, talked to her, played her favorite music. It was the most loving environment we could have hoped for.
When the hospice social worker recommended Angel's Haven Care, I was initially unsure. After one visit to the Temecula home, I knew it was right. The intimacy, the calm, the quality of the caregivers - there was nothing clinical about it. My grandmother spent her final days surrounded by warmth. That is a gift beyond measure.
