Angel’s Haven Care runs six small residential care homes across Riverside County and the Coachella Valley. Most people who contact us are doing so at a hard moment, about someone they love. We treat what you tell us with the seriousness that deserves. This policy explains exactly what happens to that information.
This website is operated by Angel’s Haven Care Assisted Living LLC (“Angel’s Haven Care”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a California limited liability company operating licensed Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) in Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Rancho Mirage and Cathedral City, California.
We are the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at any time using the details in section 14.
This policy covers personal information we collect through angelshavencare.com: the pages you browse, the enquiry and tour-request forms you submit, and the calls and emails that follow from them.
It does not cover the confidential records we keep about people who actually live in our homes. Resident health and care records are governed by California law covering residential care facilities, by our admission agreement, and by any separate notice of privacy practices we give you at move-in. If you are a resident or a resident’s legal representative and you want to know how we handle those records, contact us directly and we will provide the applicable notice.
A residential care home is not automatically a HIPAA covered entity, and information you submit through a website enquiry form is generally not protected health information under HIPAA. We nonetheless treat health details you share about a prospective resident as sensitive, and handle them as described in section 04.
When you submit an enquiry, request a tour, or ask us to check availability, we collect what you type into the form. Depending on which form you use, that can include:
If you call or email us instead, we collect whatever you tell us in that conversation, along with our own notes about it.
Like most websites, ours receives certain technical information from your browser when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the page that referred you, the pages you view and the times you view them.
If you arrive from a Google Ads advertisement, our forms also capture the Google Click Identifier (gclid) attached to your visit, so we can tell which advertisement brought you to us.
We may receive your details from a referral source: a hospital discharge planner, a social worker, a placement agency, or a family member acting on your behalf. If someone gives us your information, this policy applies to it from the moment we receive it.
Our forms ask what kind of care is needed. That answer says something about a person’s health: that they have dementia, or are on hospice, or have Parkinson’s. Often that person is not you: it is a parent, a spouse, a grandparent.
We treat this as sensitive personal information. Specifically:

We will only send you marketing messages where you have asked us to or where the law otherwise permits it, and every such message will include a way to stop them. Replying STOP to a text message will end texts from us.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only in the circumstances below.
We rely on a small number of vendors to run this site and manage enquiries. They may process your information on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes we specify:
We advertise on Google. Where our website passes online identifiers such as cookie identifiers or a Google Click Identifier to an advertising partner so that advertising can be measured or targeted across sites, California law may classify that as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out: see section 09.
We do not include the health-related details from your enquiry in anything we send to an advertising partner.
We may disclose information to our lawyers, accountants and insurers, and to regulators, courts or law enforcement where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect someone’s safety.
If our business is sold, merged or reorganised, enquiry records may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honour this policy or give you notice of any material change.
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site and the services embedded in it may use:
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will still work, though some measurement will be lost. You can also opt out of personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com and manage broader opt-outs at optout.aboutads.info.
Do Not Track. Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal, but there is still no common standard for how sites should respond, and we do not currently respond to it. We do honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing for California residents.
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them to us, and then for a reasonable period afterwards:

We collect these from you directly, from your device when you browse, and occasionally from referral sources. We have not sold personal information for money. We may have “shared” identifiers and internet-activity information for cross-context behavioural advertising as described in section 06. We do not have actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16.
We use sensitive personal information only for purposes permitted under California Civil Code 1798.121(a): to provide the service you asked for. Because of that, the right to limit its use does not change how we handle it; we already limit it.
Email info@angelshavencare.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”, or call us. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by matching the details you give us against what we already hold, and we may ask for more where a request concerns sensitive information. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need the additional 45 days the law allows.
An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission signed by you, and we may still contact you to confirm it. A parent or legal representative may make a request on behalf of a resident they represent.
California’s “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code 1798.83) lets California residents ask about personal information disclosed to third parties for their own direct-marketing use. We do not make such disclosures. You may confirm this in writing once a year using the contact details below.
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions travel encrypted. Enquiry records are held in a password-protected platform with access limited to staff who need it, and access is removed when someone leaves.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us medical records, insurance details, social security numbers or financial account details through the website forms or by ordinary email. If we need documents like that, we will tell you a secure way to send them.
Our services are for older adults, and this website is directed at adults arranging care. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our pages link to and embed content from other organisations, including Google Maps, Google review listings and our own social profiles. Once you follow a link or interact with embedded content, that organisation’s privacy policy governs what it does with your information, not ours. We are not responsible for their practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
We update this policy when our practices change or the law requires it. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If we make a material change to how we use information you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to tell you before it takes effect.
